(AULA Coffee Table) :
Looks better in pictures
I'm not expecting ultra high-end designer hand-made quality but there are a few points regarding the workmanship that are slightly disappointing:
1) The round marble top does not align fully with the 'round' metal base - either one of them isn't fully round, resulting in parts of the base jutting out from under the marble top. It's either an alignment issue or a mismatch of shape/size issue.
2) The welding points of the base are too rough. Either that or the spray paint finish wasn't done right - there were chips and scratches (or uneven coating) of the paintwork (from the picture, it looks like a brass/copper finish. but in reality it's just a bronze paint finish).
3) The clear silicone used to glue mount the marble top to the base wasn't done well - a lot of excess silicone was visible along the edges. I can cut those away myself to make it neater.
There are also 4 height-adjustable screws at the base to help you level the table (these might cut into your flooring/carpet).
The marble pattern of the actual product also isn't as depicted in the pictures - it's more of a cloudy streak (looks more like faint wood grain than the nice marble swirls marble is known for)
For $500, it's a solid and sturdy round, white marble table on a nice metal frame. Again we don't expect world-class finish at this price but it could've been a bit better. Would keep it nonetheless.
Good height for adults to sit on the floor and eat their meals on the table (size of table would fit about 6 adults).
